Although it is not considred as one of the main nutrients , silicon is an important element in the protection of shoot system and fruits from high temperature problems in addition to frost, as it’s necessary in many physiological traits in plants, Agro Silicate is composed of :

11% Potassium oxide.

23% Silicon oxide.

• Agro Silicate has a major role in the protection of plant tissue from the high temperature, as it’s found that the rough texture and the tolerance of the leaves of the corn plant for high temperature is only due to the presence of the silicon element with high concentrations.
• Agro Silicate is essential for the management of frost periods , providing complete protection for plant cells against the destructive effect of low temperature and freezing of water inside and outside the cells .
• Agro Silicate protects the plant from fungal infections and reduces it’s severity by entering silicon in the structure of the cell wall, so it becomes more rigid and more resistant to penetration of fungal hyphae .
• Agro Silicate reduces the plant’s water need during the summer period by reducing the amount of water loss in the crop and it achieves the ability to tolerate the plants for thirst and salinity .
• Agro Silicate helps to overcome the phenomenon of crops lodging such as wheat and rice, which hardens the cells of the stems of these plants and prevents them from lodging causes.
• Agro Silicate has a role in improving the production of vegetable plants, by increasing the consistency of leaves and delaying aging, leading to increased protein and chlorophyll content , in addition to the role of potassium as a major factor of sizing .
• Agro Silicate is characterized by the presence of silicon element in the form of potassium silicate, which provides the maximum and easiest absorption of silicon, in addition to the potassium providing as one of the major elements .
